Creative Director

Emmanuel founded Malaika Media in 2012. He leads a team of smart, self driven creatives who care a lot on getting work done well. He grew up filmmaking in his school and photographing friends at the age of fifteen, and has turned this lifelong passion of visual storytelling into a career. His photographic style is based on a combination of technical skills, and creative intuition.

Script Writer

A super fan of rugby, loves flowers She joined our team after serving as a News anchor at Record TV. As a creative strategist, script writer and voice over artist. She is recognized for her expertise in the implementation of change within the company. As a scriptwriter, Blessing helps clients in the ideation phase fine-tune an existing idea or develop new ones from scratch.

Senior Photographer

With 10+ years of photography experience working with some of the most loved brands. Nazil is dedicated to delivering professional photography work that meets the highest standards of quality.

Video Editor

Cedric oversees the editing at Malaika Media, from graphics to delivering to specifications and ensuring quality control. He has a keen eye for details and ensures that every video is approached with intent, a clear strategy and creative approach in line with all client brief

Motion Graphics

As motion graphics artist, Farook helps clients in the ideation phase fine-tune an existing idea or develop new ones from scratch. Merry is also DJM’s lead scriptwriter and director, overseeing the various production phases to ensure each part fits the clients’ vision.

Finance & Admin

Rhona, our Operations and Finance person, has more than seven years of experience managing the day to day activities. Her excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to find innovative solutions to workflow and project challenges help us to deliver our projects on time.

Producer

Justine has a deep rooted love for film making and editing. Her years of creating and editing her own short videos and her fluency in voice is what lead her to Malaika Media Uganda door. Her versatility, honesty, and humor can be seen in every project she gets her hands on and makes her an invaluable member of the Malaika team.

Senior Videographer

Michael joined Malaika Media in its early stages as an Independent videographer in 2014. Michael is he is also an accomplished editor and sound technician. Michael has been very crutial on almost all video projects we have worked on at Malaika Media
