MetropolitanRepublic Uganda, a subsidiary of MetropolitanRepublic, which is an integrated communications agency based in Johannesburg with offices in several other African countries.

BRIEF

Stanbic Bank , a regional leader in banking believes in the powerful narrative of visual content. Since 2020, their partnership with MetropolitanRepublic and Malaika Media has reshaped the way they share their vision, values, and ventures with the world. This was exhibited in the campaign Sustainability Report and Campaign" where Stanbic wanted to show their sustainability approach.

Stanbic's vast reach, both in terms of services and geography, requires diverse content that speaks to different audiences while maintaining the brand's regional ethos. Their aim was to chronicle the myriad facets of their journey and future, from customer success stories, graduate trainees programs to partner marketing initiatives, with photography and video content that resonates.

PRODUCTION

Stanbic sought to produce a plethora of content - Case Studies that dissect success, sustainability Customer Stories that connect, events that showcase milestones, Partner Marketing collaborations, nuanced Internal and External Communications, and rich Graphics, all wrapped up in engaging Interviews. With our team of a professional corporate photographer, videographers, sound technian, and producer, we embarked on the journey to tell the stories who have been affected by Stanbic. We travelled to Kapchorwa for a story of a farmer who received a loan from Stanbic to enhance his farming business. Most of the other stories were picked from Kampala.

THE RESULT

Harnessing the power of collaboration and teams;

Malaika Media produced an impressive cache of over 8 videos that delve into the multifaceted world of Stanbic as it shows off its sustainability.
These narratives spanned a vast industry canvas, from the bustling streets of Kampala, techhubs of Kamwokya to the farmlands of Kapchorwa.
Each piece, be it Graphic, or Interview, was tailored to cater to specific audience insights while echoing stanbic's overarching narrative.
A collection of Documentary Photographs and portraits were submitted where by Metro created a photo story book. and some images were used on Billboards as part of the campaign distribution strategy
