Brief
Working with the Ministry of Health and local district governments, JSI led the USAID-funded Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services-North, Lango (USAID RHITES-N, Lango) project to strengthen the health system in the Lango sub-region of Uganda to improve access and availability of quality health services for individuals and their families, reaching over 2 million people. The district-led and community-focused project covered multiple technical areas, including HIV, tuberculosis, maternal, newborn and child health, family planning, malaria, nutrition, and water and sanitation.

USAID has been a beacon of hope for countless lives in Northern uganda. Renowned for its commendable work, JSI aspired to tell the impactful stories in a way that they deserved: with emotion, authenticity, and inspiration.
While the tales of resilience and hope were many, capturing their essence and converting them into potent narratives was the challenge. The aim was not just to tell success stories but to resonate deeply, touching hearts and invoking actions.
The team at Malaika Media swang into action to document the project after the 6 years of implementation. From the research made the team put together a filming script in areas which USAID RHITES-N, Lango was being implemented. These included;

Malaika Media collaborated closely JSI's dedicated team. Their combined passion resulted in the creation of a captivating documentary photographs and videos that encapsulated the project's success. This partnership flourished, leading to the production of approximately 3 videos and 500 photos. These videos delved into various content forms, including touching individual narratives, interviews, and memorable event showcases such as the closeout event.
